Healing Prayer

Members of the FPC prayer team are available to pray with you in the Chapel for physical, emotional and spiritual healing and wholeness. Takes place each Wednesday night, with the exception of the first Wednesday of each month when the Prayer & Worship Gathering takes place. Click here for more information.

Pray With Us

PrayFirst prayer partners pray regularly for our FPC family, our mission partners, Houston neighborhoods and every country in the world.

No committee meetings, no cards, no contact — just the practice of a few minutes of prayer before God for one year.

Prayer Partners will receive a packet with a prayer guide, a short list of names and a mission partner. You may or may not know the people on your list, but when you pray, we trust that God knows their needs.

A Quiet Moment of Prayer & Power

Pray First Reflections

As we enter another year of PrayFirst where every FPC member and ministry partners around the world, are lifted in prayer, many encouraging reports have been received.

  • I did not know what to expect when I first began the program. It has been a great experience and has definitely brought me closer to the Lord. It has forced me to take a moment each morning and go some place quiet and pray. What a great way to start the day.
  • Such a gentle nudge for me to turn to God first thing in the morning – to include those on my prayer list (of names of FPC members assigned to prayer partners) and then thinking of others in my life that I would like to ask for God’s blessings and guidance, including myself.
  • I prayed over each person on my list of fourteen. I do not know the outcome of my prayers, but I felt a great sense of assurance from the Lord that they were effective. It is a wonderful ministry.
  • I do want to continue as part of PrayFirst. I feel it is such a blessing for me, not only to pray for others but know that someone is praying for me. What peace!
