First Moms Bible Study

First Moms   Gather with other mothers in an informal and casual setting to study and encourage each other in God’s grace. Share joys and concerns with mentor moms who have been there. In First Moms our time consists of a weekly lesson, small group discussion, and a time for group prayers and praises. This fall we will be discussing Parenting: 14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family by Paul David Tripp. Tripp presents a big picture view of God's plan for us and how we need the power of His grace to shape how we view ourselves as parents.     Childcare is available for infants through kindergarten for $5 per mom per week. International Justice Mission is a long-standing mission partner with FPC since 2003. IJM operates in many of the countries where our partners are such as ARM/Uganda operate. This year marks IJM's 20th anniversary. After 20 years of anti-slavery work around the world, IJM is hosting a momentous event called Liberate. This global gathering will include all of IJM’s staff from around the world and others who are passionate about ending slavery: strong-hearted individuals who are ready to step up to the call and further the movement– from college students to liberators in the field to people like you. This two day event will be held at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas outside of Dallas. FPC hopes to take a group to be part of Liberate.
