Single Occupancy $240  Double Occupancy $180 Dr. Shelley Homeyer, missionary to Uganda and theology lecturer with African Renewal Ministries, will lead us in discerning God’s voice in the body of Christ. We are met with decisions and transitions throughout our journey, job change, new ministries, marriage, children growing, as well as crisis such as divorce, loss, hardship, Harvey.  Whether your crossroads is long term, short term or in the moment, Shelley will help equip us with tools to become more spiritually aware and intentional in seeking His call and direction. Small group time will be spent practicing discernment principles.

First Place is an intergenerational community who commits to supporting each other in our health and spiritual goals. We combine scripture study and current medical research on weight management to lead people in making successful choices. Our spring study will be Be Free.  "Freedom is neither perfection nor permission." We want to be able to say, "I know the truth, and the truth can set me free."The cost for first time participants is $125, which covers books, DVDs, and other required materials. Each subsequent session is $25.

Hear from experts in the field of global health and be inspired by men and women who are in the trenches, often in resource-limited settings, doing what they can to make a difference in people’s lives. Connect with organizations working in the areas of medical missions, orphan care, WaSH ministry (water, sanitation or hygiene), human trafficking, poverty and injustice.  Join us to find out what you can do and how you can be involved. What is the Alpha Course and what does it mean to be an Alpha Leader or Volunteer? This 4-week training will teach the Alpha DNA, explore what it takes to run a course, and then give everyone a chance to experience an Alpha session (free food!). This class hopes to cast a vision for why we are so excited to do the Alpha Course at FPC. This training will be in preparation for our Spring Alpha Course, beginning April 4th.

February 25- April 8 (Not meeting on Easter Sunday, April 1)  Our hope is that engaged and newly married couples would join us for this 6 week Sunday School Class.  Marriage is a gift from God and we place a high value on the importance and necessity of preparing for this relationship, before and after marriage. FPC offers a 6-week seminar that addresses the biblical meaning of marriage, common issues couples face, and provide vital tools to help navigate your relationship. The class is taught by members of FPC, pastors and family counseling professionals. The class facilitators are Alan and Claudia Stewart. Whether you are considering marriage, engaged, or have been married for only a few months or years, this class is beneficial to all as we work towards glorifying our Lord in the way we love our future or current spouse.
