MS Adventure Trip 2017

Glorietta, NM | July 19 - 26 | $800 ($400 deposit)

This summer our Middle School Adventure trip will be to Student Life Camp in Glorietta, New Mexico. We will be joining other youth from around the country for great worship and teaching. Our group will also experience some of the great outdoor adventures in the area such as white water rafting, beautiful hikes, and more.

Registration is a 2-step process.  Please first register and then make a payment using the buttons below.

Mo Ranch Family Camp

hunt, tx | JULY 13 - 16 | $225 ($265 with bus)

All ages gather in the Texas hill country for three nights of great meals, fellowship and worship.  The youth stay in their own dorms and enjoy time competing in games, relaxing, and getting to know Jesus and each other better.  





confirmation retreat: 2/3-2/4 | classes: 2/5, 2/26, 3/26, 4/9 | confirmation sunday: 5/7
make-up sessions: 2/19, 3/5, 4/2 

Confirmation is open to any 8th grade students who are interested in learning more about what it means to be a Christian, how to live out their faith, and would like to become a member of First Presbyterian Church. If you would like to register your child for Confirmation, please read the Requirements and Confirmation Letter below before registering.

Sunday School
Sunday Mornings  |  9:30-10:45am  |  LC 080 

Make new friends and learn more about the Lord every Sunday morning. Meet as a group each week to hang out together, then break up into grade and gender specific small groups to really dive into the Bible and grow closer to God.

RESOUND! Youth Choir
SUNDAY afternoonS  |  4:30-6PM  |  CE 240  |  GRADES 6-12 

Rehearsals begin on the Sunday after Labor Day, September 11, from 4:30-6:00 PM in the big choir room, CE 240. Middle Schoolers may head to Momentum right after choir. Questions may be directed to Leigh Shipman at 281.543.9562.

Sunday Evenings  |  6-7:30pm  |  LC 080 

This is a time for all Middle School students to come together to eat pizza, play games, and have a short devotional to help them gain Momentum to start their school week off right.

wednesday Evenings  |  6:30-8pm  |  LC 080 

For any Middle School student who wants to dive deeper into their faith. Meetings are three Wednesday nights a month in the Middle School Basement (LC080). Youth eat together and have a small group Bible study and discussion. Contact Denver McCollister, 713.620.6419.  Dates for Spring 2017 are: 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 3/8, 3/22, 3/29, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24.

Friday Night Out (FNO)

Meet up one Friday a month for a fun night out with all of your friends. FNO’s include a lock-in, broomball, and other great surprises. Check the calendar for dates and keep your ears and eyes open for details!

Servant Saturday

This is an awesome opportunity to serve other people within the community. A different project every month provides plenty of great opportunities to have fun and serve together. 


Many other activities go on throughout the year like a 6th grade retreat, a 7th/8th grade retreat, a spring retreat and various other activities. These are great opportunities for students to join in fellowship and get to know each other better! Keep tuned in to the calendar for dates.
