The Women’s Ministry is a grace-filled community of women from all seasons and walks of life sharing life’s joys and struggles in the context of how God is using every circumstance to mold us into Christ’s image. These women study God’s Word, pray, and serve the community together. By faith and God’s grace, in large and small ways, they are women of The Word reaching out to women in the world.
Childcare is available on Tuesdays from 9am–12:30pm at a cost of $5 per mom/week by reservation.

Bounded Freedom: The Importance Of "No" In The Lives Of Christian Women
Wednesday / May 2, 2018 / 6-8:30pm / LC181
Busyness is not a spiritual gift! Lives that are over busy are a common struggle for women. In order to be faithful and joyful in what we say yes to, we need the wisdom and courage to sometimes say "no." Please join us as licensed professional counselor, Sarah Burkhart, leads a discussion on boundaries, common pitfalls of Christian women, and the importance of saying “No”. Join us to break bread together and share in worship, discussion and prayer. Invite a friend or neighbor to join you in this sweet time of community. Childcare available by reservation. $5 at the door. Heavy appetizer refreshments served.

We believe that spiritual mentoring relationships are vital to the body of Christ and an important tool in discipleship and spiritual growth, for both the mentor and the one being mentored! Entrusted looks to connect the women of FPC for one on one mentoring with the goal of encouragement and nurture in life's challenges and in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The women commit to meeting every other week for a minimum 6 month period. If you would like more information or you are looking to be connected with a mentor, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Thursdays | 9:30–11:30am | 5401 Fannin St (2 blocks east of FPC, across the street from St Paul's)
Join other FPC women EVERY Thursday (except Thanksgiving) as we make and distribute sandwiches together for the EAC, an interfaith association of congregations committed to promoting self-sufficiency to low income families in Harris County by assisting them with basic needs such as food and clothing. It’s a great time for fellowship among friends while giving back to the community. To signup, please contact Laura Smith at email@example.com.
Women's Fellowship Circles welcome all women who want to visit. Our nine circles meet at FPC or in homes once a month. We share in mission, Bible study and friendship. The Bible studies are led by circle members who are taught by church pastors and staff on a monthly basis. We also have a mission focus each month that helps local ministries such as Main Street Ministries, The Nehemiah Center, the Seafarers' Center at the Port of Houston and the Harris Health Services supporting Ben Taub.
