Retreat: jan 31-feb 1 | other sessions: Feb 2, Mar 29, Apr 5, apr 19 | Confirmation Sunday: may 3
Confirmation is a one semester course open to any 8th grade student (or older) who is interested in learning more about what it means to be Christian, how to live out their faith, and would like to become a member of First Presbyterian Church. Confirmation will present the basics of the Christian faith to students so that it will be an effective time of learning, question asking, accountability and fellowship. The course will begin with a retreat January 31-February 1, and will end on Youth Sunday on May 3 (with 4 classes in between). Please read “Confirmation Requirements” and “Confirmation Parent Letter” below for more details before registering.

Friday Night Out (FNO)
We meet up one Friday each month for a fun night out with all of your friends. FNO’s include a lock-in, broomball, and other great surprises.
Check the calendar for dates and keep your ears and eyes open for more details!
This is an awesome opportunity to serve other people within the community. A different project every month provides plenty of great opportunities to have fun and serve together.
Many other activities occur throughout the year, such a 6th-grade retreat in the fall, a 7th Grade 8th-grade retreat in the fall, a spring retreat (6th-8th grades) and various other activities. These are great opportunities for students to join in fellowship and get to know each other better! Stay tuned and continue to check the calendar for dates.
