Summer at FPC

The summer months frequently mean extended time away from Houston and, often, the brothers and sisters in Christ that we “do” life with. We miss you and you miss one another during this time. Highlighted below are a few of the ways you can maintain your daily walk and share in community despite summer schedules.

Youth Summer Trips

Our Middle and High School Youth programs have multiple trips coming up this summer. These are great opportunities for students to enjoy quality time together, serve, and grow closer to God.

College Class

Sundays | June 5–July 10 | 9:30 AM | Pinedale House

If you or a college student you love will be home for the summer break, join us each Sunday morning to study a Biblical view on relevant topics like technology, money, conflict, and diversity.

Free Summer Childcare

Each Tuesday, FPC will offer free childcare from 9–11 AM for infants through Pre-K (the week of June 21 we will open child care up through 5th grade). No pre-registration is required. Whether you need time to do your personal study, meet with your D-Group, or just spend time in prayer, we hope this will be a gift to you. Email Lindsay Colvin at lcolvin@fpchouston.org for questions.

Opportunities to Serve

Join FPC this summer as we look to fulfill the needs of our neighbors here in Houston and the nations around the world. If you’re looking for a way to serve today, find immediate ways to connect with ministries on our Upcoming Opportunities page, as well as ongoing ways to connect and serve throughout the year.
