Summer months can mean vacations away, staycations, or simply changes in our weekly schedule. They can also mean new and continued opportunities to incorporate the rhythms Jesus modeled for us—gathering in worship, being equipped in community, and serving on mission—into our summer schedules. See below for ways you can make FPC a part of your summer.
In this series, The Stories Jesus Told, we will walk slowly through some of Jesus’ most powerful parables. These are stories that confront our assumptions, rewire our instincts, and stretch our imaginations for what God is doing among us. Some will comfort us. Others will challenge us. All of them are meant to shape us into people who live not just for ourselves, but from the deep, transforming life of God.
As we listen together, may we learn to hear with open hearts, respond with renewed trust, and become a community shaped by the truth these stories reveal—for our good and for the flourishing of our city.
