High School Adventure Trip 2019

Our High School Ministry recently traveled to Buena Vista, CO for their summer Adventure Trip! The students had a chance to connect and fellowship with their peers in nature without the distraction of their cell phones. We are thankful to our youth staff for taking care of and providing some of our youngest members with an experience filled with seeing, hearing, and knowing the will of Christ.

FPC Choirs Holy Land Mission

In June over 60 members of the FPC Choirs journeyed to the Holy Land, to visit, and encourage our mission partners in the region through music. The group was able to perform in and visit historic sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, and many more places around the Sea of Galilee. We are thankful for their willingness to share the gift of music for God’s glory!

Young Adults visit The Micah Project

In April, the Young Adult Ministry journeyed to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to encourage and spend time with one of our ministry partners, The Micah Project. The Micah Project is focused on giving street-connected youth a familial environment in which they could heal. In addition to their work with the boys and staff of The Micah Project, the Young Adults were able to experience the culture of Tegucigalpa by visiting local markets, and landmarks like The Christ at “El Picacho”.

Easter Sunday 2019

On April 21, 2019, over 2,000 members of out our congregation and guests gathered to celebrate Easter Sunday and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Services for the day included traditional worship in the sanctuary featuring the FPC Choirs and a Concert Brass Ensemble and contemporary worship in the grand hall. There was also a special service for families during the 9 o’clock hour. After worship, many decided to retreat to the lawn outside the sanctuary to fellowship with one another over donuts and coffee or take photos in their Easter Sunday Best.
