Summer just isn’t the same without you! Check out the many ways you can continue to gather, be equipped, and serve while you enjoy your summer schedule.
The second half of Ephesians turns from what God has done for us in Christ to the kind of people we are now called to become. Paul urges the church to walk worthy of the calling they have received by living in humility, patience, forgiveness, and love.
The Hebrew Scriptures are full of stories of all kinds—stories that make us laugh and stories that make us cry, stories that inform our lives today alongside stories that inspire our longing for eternity. Many of these stories, once told alongside a Sunday morning flannelgraph, can seem like tall tales we leave behind as we age—but we do so at our own peril, because these are the stories that help us let the way of Jesus lead.
Over these five weeks, we’ll engage five different stories that point us to Jesus, stories that seem simple but are central to a life of faith. Together, they are stories we don’t grow out of.

Please note, due to Mo-Ranch, there will only be one worship service at FPC on July 12 at 11 AM in the Sanctuary.
Deepen your faith and find community this summer through one of our Equipping Opportunities.
Whether the format is lecture, discussion, or a blend of both, Sunday morning communities equip people with the practices and postures that will help them experience life-transforming closeness with Christ.
FPC small groups are a great way to get connected with people in your neighborhood who have a heart for Jesus, for sharing the gospel, and for caring for the city of Houston.
Our Children & Family Ministry and Youth Ministry will continue to meet during the Sunday School hour and various times throughout the week in the summer months. Please view their respective pages for more details on their schedule.
If you’re looking for a way to serve today, find immediate ways to connect with ministries on our Upcoming Opportunities page, as well as ongoing ways to connect and serve throughout the year.
Summer 2026
Beneath a canopy of colorful creatures, children will plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. Our mission this week is to help kids (Pre-K4–5th Grade) become rooted in a relationship with their Creator, who provides the foundation for our faith and helps us grow in His love. Lay-leaders will explore activities and games with our day campers.
