End-of-Year Giving

Your gifts are vital to our mission to Cultivate Community in the Way of Jesus for the Flourishing of the City, and December giving is an especially critical milestone in our annual budget plan. Whether it’s to complete your 2026 pledge, a continuation of your giving for the year, or a first-time gift, your generosity is appreciated! We hope you will prayerfully consider an offering to FPC. Please note, if it is a priority to have your contribution credited in 2025 for tax purposes, please view our end-of-year deadlines below. For questions, contact Hunter Johnson, Chief Operating Officer, at hjohnson@fpchouston.org.

End-of-year Deadlines:nd-of-year Deadlines:

-Online contributions by midnight on December 31
-Checks dated and received by December 31
-Mailed checks must be postmarked by December 31*

*Special Note: Beginning December 24, 2025, a new United States Postal Service (USPS) rule clarifies that
postmarks reflect the date of the first automated processing—not necessarily the actual mailing
date. If you are mailing a year-end contribution, please consider:

1. Requesting a hand stamped postmark at the USPS counter.
2. Purchase postage at the counter, the label includes the acceptance date.
3. Use certified or registered mail.

We can only credit your gift to 2025 if both the check date and the postmark are 2025.

As a church, we commit to

Cultivate community in the way of Jesus for the flourishing of the city.
