I'm New PARKING

All Online Activities Available Here

VBS will be a little different this year and that's why we are calling it VVBS. We are excited because moving VBS online will open up so many new ways for people to participate. All online resources will be available beginning the week of June 8 and stay available all summer!

So climb aboard for mountains of fun at Rocky Railway! On this faith-filled adventure, kids discover that trusting Jesus pulls them through life’s ups and downs. The theme could NOT be more timely!

We are not collecting registration fees for VVBS, but there will be donation opportunities if needed.

Why is VBS Online?

Letter from Stacey Rockwell

Dear Friends,

You may have noticed that VBS registration was scheduled to open last week on April 1. That plan was made under normal circumstances which simply don’t exist at this time. VBS will still occur this summer, but there is a possibility the format will be very different.

In deciding the safest path for our children and families we have consulted the FPC COVID-19 Advisory Committee. (If you have not had time to read the most recent update from our FPC COVID-19 Advisory Committee, you can view it here  https://fpchouston.org/am-site/media/fpc-covid-19-advisory-board---040420.pdf.) It is clear that even if we reach our peak in late April/early May and begin to “flatten the curve”, maintaining a level of social distancing will still be necessary for a length of time before it can be considered safe to gather in person.

To that end, we are planning an online option for VBS so our program can happen virtually, June 8-12.

Several scenarios were considered, but we are confident this is the safest option for you! We know VBS is an important part of your summer— it’s our favorite time of year! For that reason, we are working very hard to make sure it will be as meaningful and powerful as ever! God’s love transcends ALL obstacles!

We can’t wait for the #BestVBSEver! It will certainly be historic!

Look for a registration link coming out on April 13th.
