FPC is coordinating a community service day on Saturday, May 3. Our goal is to building community while serving our partners. This aligns with FPC’s vision of “cultivating community in the way of Jesus for the flourishing of the city.” This May 3 service day is part of a bigger citywide service month called Serve HTX organized by Houston Responds, Houston Church Planting Network, and other organizations.
On May 3, FPC will have four different service opportunities:
-landscape clean up and prayer walking at Agape Development (9 AM-12 PM)
-food distribution at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church (8 AM-12 PM)
-project TBD at The Nehemiah Center (9 AM-12 PM)
-assembling “Go Bags” for Freedom Church Alliance and “Glow Bags” for The Landing at FPC (9 AM-12 PM)
