This Lent, we are exploring Sabbath, a central discipline of Christian faith. Through this series, we will learn how living 24/6 calls us to stop our work, rest our bodies and minds, and remember who God created us to be.
Lent and Easter bring out #AllTheFeelings. It’s important to sit with those emotions and process them with your children. This Lent we invite you to reflect on how Jesus and the disciples might have felt during Holy Week.
This Lent, FPC Houston is participating in Awaken Houston, a city-wide movement aiming to have 100,000 Houstonians praying daily for 1,000 baptisms in the month of April. We invite everyone in the FPC Community to join this movement by participating in a prayer gathering at FPC Houston on Wednesday, April 2, at 7 PM. Join the Children & Family Ministry for a Family Celebration on the lawn beginning at 10:30 AM.
The 9:30 AM, kid-friendly, Easter service is a great option for families with little ones. The Children’s Choirs will sing, the flowers will bloom, the tomb will be empty, and we’ll celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! Childcare available (ages 2 months–Kinder). Sunday School will not meet on Easter.
Following the 9:30 AM service or before heading to 11:15 AM worship, join us for a family Easter celebration on the grass lot across from the Sanctuary at 10:30 AM.
