Since 1969, KDO’s mission has been to offer a faith-based preschool program that lays a firm
foundation in the love of learning, the love of Christ, and the love of others.
The office door is always open to our parents as a resource for child development questions, parenting questions, or simply to be a compassionate listening ear. Partnering with our parents and providing a family environment is at the heart of what we do.
At KDO children will develop social-emotional skills, which are essential to future academic success in primary and secondary school, through socialization and learning the concepts of:
Confidence and self-esteem will be nurtured as each child develops self-help skills and realizes that, “I can do it myself!”
KDO is a place where kids can be kids. Getting messy, playing hard, mastering new skills, learning through mistakes, and experiencing grace are all things that will happen during a KDO day.
During weekly chapel and classroom Bible lessons, God’s word is planted and watered in each child.
KDO’s teaching and leadership staff are committed to teaching children and modeling to children the great love that Jesus has for us. We begin each day in prayer for our students, our families, and each other.
