Ryan Born
Youth Director
I started out as the High School Boy’s Director in August of 2015; however my love for this ministry began when I was a freshman in high school. I grew up going to an FPC small group on a weekly basis, and I signed up for every trip that I could, however for the first three years of high school my faith was nominal at best. It wasn’t until the summer going into my senior year that Jesus stepped into my life and changed everything. I went off to play soccer at Rhodes College and was deeply involved in a college ministry called Campus Outreach. I had the privilege to become a summer intern with FPC alongside Morgan Bates (our current Youth Coordinator) and it was easily the best summer of my life. It was then that I realized that God was calling me into youth ministry full time, and since then I have never looked back. My deepest joy in life is that I get to have a front row seat next to my beautiful wife, Kate, as we watch Him change the lives of high school students.
