We go into the world to share the gospel as individuals in our circles of influence and as a body in Houston and beyond. We provide strategic opportunities locally and globally to share the Gospel and also equip the Body of Christ to share their faith in their daily lives.
Explore our giving options and let us answer your questions on how to bless our community with your generosity.
The summer months frequently mean extended time away from Houston and, often, the brothers and sisters in Christ that we “do” life with. We miss you and you miss one another during this time. Highlighted below are a few of the ways you can maintain your daily walk and share in community despite summer schedules.
On Sunday, June 11, we kick off our summer sermon series. This is a two-part exploration of Psalm 23 that will carry us through August. During this time, we will reflect on two themes: God as our Shepherd and God as our Host.
To provide opportunities to dig deeper, regardless of your location, Equipping & Sending team and our Children & Family Ministry team have prepared devotional content that can be used individually, with your small group, and as conversation guides with little ones.
Printed copies will be available around campus beginning Sunday, June 11. Click below for a digital devotional.
We will continue to offer three services each Sunday this summer.* Whether you are local and can join us in person, or traveling for the summer and participating online, there is a place for you in worship.
*Please note that July 13–16, FPC will gather for their annual retreat to Mo-Ranch. We will therefore have only one service at 11 AM on July 16.

Sundays | Aug 6-27 | 9:30 AM | Fellowship Hall
Join us each Sunday during the month of August for our annual All-Church Sunday School class as we discuss The Art of Neighboring. We will be applying what we’re learning in our sermon series Welcomed to the Table, with practical, hyperlocal implications. Since God welcomes us to His table, what does it mean to welcome others into our lives with open arms and hearts?
Our Children & Family Ministry and Youth Department will continue to meet during the Sunday School hour in the summer months. Please view their respective pages for more details on their schedule.
Mon–Fri | June 5-9 | 9 AM–12 PM
Join us on a cosmic quest where your kids will have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. There are still volunteer opportunities for older children, parents, and grandparents at this year’s VBS! Email Katie Hill at khill@fpchouston.org.
Our Middle and High School ministries are headed to Panama City, Zion National Park, and Honduras for serve, outreach, and adventure trips. These are great opportunities to hang with others and grow closer to God.
Thur–Sun | July 13-16 | Hunt, TX
Each year, this is a wonderful time to gather as a community, enjoying fellowship, learning, God’s beautiful creation, and fun for all ages! To join the waitlist, please email Erin Varnell at evarnell@fpchouston.org.
Try singing with the Chancel Choir this summer! No auditions or long-term commitment are required, and you may participate as often as you wish throughout the summer. We will be excited to welcome you and your voice to the group.
